Calendars brought by corporate companies or business establishments commonly feature photos of their products/services with certain descriptions/significance of the companies.
Here is a change. Master Kitchen Appliances, a noted firm that achieved accolades and applauses across the country through series of products, has brought a unique calendar portraying spellbinding artefacts, created by talented young artists.
Master Kitchen Appliances has invited and selected beautiful paintings that portray the talents of the artists for its most ambitious calendar. Master Kitchen Appliances has planned to distribute 10,000 copies of calendar to its distributors and customers spread across the state.
Mr. Prakash Bansali, Managing Director of Master Kitchen Appliances, Mr. Rajesh and the artists released the colorful calendar at a function that held at Bangalore Press Club on January 9, 2014.
Master Kitchen Appliances has selected masterpieces of ten talented artists who have completed Bachelors of Fine Arts for the calendar. They are: Anuradha, Nirupama Konwar, K. Govindaraj, S. Uma, K. Arun, T.V. Shankar, Meghana Aithal, S.K. Manjula, Rakesh M. Venkat and Punya Kirthi.
The calendar is a blend of artists’ talents and their tryst with paint, brush and the canvas. All the artists have exhibited their aptitude through series of artefacts that are used in the calendar.
“Most of the artists do not get platforms to exhibit their works due to various reasons. We have decided to provide a platform for young and talented artists to showcase their flair for art. Thus, we have brought the calendar with art works instead of our products,” says Mr. Prakash Bansali, Managing Director of Master Kitchen Appliances.
“We have participated in several arts exhibitions after the completion of Bachelors of Fine Arts. Our artefacts had never been greeted with such encouragements even if they were displayed in arts exhibitions. Each and every artist dreamt that his/her artefacts should reach more and more number of people. We are delighted that our artefacts are reaching vast number of art lovers through this calendar,” says artist S. Uma.
A total of ten thousand of copies of the calendar have been printed. They will be issued to all distributors and customers of Master Kitchen Appliances at free of cost.
